    • Route 1- Cowes Week event from the 1st to 7th of August

      Cowes week 2026 is now upon us.

      Route 1s are likely to see delays especially during the evening due to the extra customers using the route to reach the event.

      We recommend allowing extra time for your journey and we will be doing our best to keep services on time.

    Newport to Ryde

    via Merstone, Godshill, Shanklin, Sandown, Brading, Tesco

    • Route 2/62/72- Victoria Avenue, Shanklin closed

      24th Jun 2026 onwards

      Route 2/62/72- Victoria Avenue, Shanklin closed- We have been informed that Victoria Avenue Shanklin to Whiteley Bank has been closed for emergency works.

      Due to the closure, buses will divert from Shanklin Bus Station, via Landguard Road to Lake Morrisons, Apse Heath, Canteen Road and re-join normal route at Whiteley Bank.

      The diversion will operate in both directions until further notice.

      We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    • Route 2/3/N3/8- Monkton Street closed until further notice

      23rd Jul 2026 onwards

      Monkton Street, Ryde will be closed until further notice.

      Buses will divert from Park Road onto Bennett Street to reach St Johns Hill and resume normal route.

      Stops along Monkton Street will not be served during the closure.

    • Route 2- Merstone Lane closed from 08:00 - 16:00 Daily until 7th August

      3rd Aug 2026 onwards

      Route 2- Merstone Lane closed from 08:00 - 16:00 Daily until 7th August

      During this time buses will divert via Rookley. Bus stops between RSPCA Shelter and Blackwater Quarry can not be served. This diversion will operate in both directions.

    • Routes 2, 3 & 8 - St Johns Road is closed, Buses diverting via East Hill Road

      Today 19:21

      Due to a closure of St Johns Road, in Ryde, Route 2, 3 & 8 towards Ryde will divert via East Hill Road, Dover Street & Park Road to continue normal route from Ryde Library.

      This Diversion will operate in both directions.

      The following stops are unable to be served;
      Lower Highland Road
      St Johns Road Station
      Benett Street.

    via Rookley, Godshill, Ventnor, Shanklin, Sandown, Brading, Tesco; includes shuttle buses between Wroxall and Ventnor during road closure

      Today 21:01

      Newport Road in Upper Ventnor has been closed due to southern water.

      During this time, the Route 3 towards Ventnor will divert from Whiteley Bank, Canteen Road, Ventnor Road, Newport Road, Whitecross Lane , Landguard Road, Shanklin High Street , Shanklin Old Village, Leeson Road, right into St Boniface Road and continue normal Route at Spring Hill. Wroxall and Upper Ventnor will not be served.

      This diversion will operate in both directions.

      Buses will divert from Park Road onto Bennett Street to reach St Johns Hill and resume normal route.

      Stops along Monkton Street will not be served during the closure.

    • Route 8 & Island Coaster - Sandown Bay Holiday Centre bus stops out of use until further notice.

      Today 18:14

      Due to roadworks covering the stops, Sandown Bay Holiday Centre bus stops are not in use in both directions until further notice.
      Your nearest stops will be Meadow Way and Yaverland Church.
