Garlic Festival - Route 8
During the weekend of 15th & 16th August 2026 the Isle of Wight Garlic festival will be taking place and Route 8 will follow the following diversions
Buses towards SANDOWN – Will use normal route but will not serve Amazon World bus stop. There will be a temporary stop in place before the turning into Watery Lane
Buses towards NEWPORT – Will divert from the Bottom of Forest Road , Left into Winford Road and Right into Newport Road to Continue Normal Route

Route 2/3/N3/8- Monkton Street closed until further notice
Monkton Street, Ryde will be closed until further notice.
Buses will divert from Park Road onto Bennett Street to reach St Johns Hill and resume normal route.
Stops along Monkton Street will not be served during the closure.

Route 3- Godshill blocked
Due to an RTC blocking the road in Godshill, Route 3 will need to divert after Rookley, Via Merstone, Arreton and Canteen Road to reach Whiteley Bank.
This diversion will operate in both directions. Bus stops between Allendale and Sandford Chapel can not be served.
