Due to a bus issue the 10:00 Island Coaster from Ryde will be delayed by 10 minutes

Route 8 & Island Coaster - Sandown Bay Holiday Centre bus stops out of use until further notice.
Due to roadworks covering the stops, Sandown Bay Holiday Centre bus stops are not in use in both directions until further notice.
Your nearest stops will be Meadow Way and Yaverland Church.

Route 2/3/Coaster- Shanklin Carnival Info for the event taking place on Wednesday 5th August
Shanklin Main Carnival will be taking place from 18:30 until 20:30 on Wednesday 5th August and some local diversions will be in place at this time:
🔸Diversion for route 3 buses from Shanklin heading towards Ventnor and Newport🔸
The 17:20, 17:50, 18:20, 18:50, 19:15 and 19:45 route 3 departures from Ryde Transport Interchange will from operate from Lake to Sandown via the 2 Route (Green Lane). When leaving Shanklin Bus Station, buses will operate via Landguard Road, Ventnor Road, Canteen Road, through Wroxall through Upper Ventnor and to St Boniface Road to rejoin normal route at Trinity Church. Stops between Daishs and Chimney Steps can not be served. This is due to Victoria Avenue being closed.
🔸Diversion for route 3 and Island Coaster heading from Ventnor towards Shanklin🔸
The 17:05, 17:35, 18:05, 18:35, 19:05, 19:35 and 20:05 Route 3 departures from Newport Bus Station and Island Coaster at 16:55 from Yarmouth to Ryde, will operate from Ventnor Trinity Church, via Upper Ventnor, Wroxall, Canteen Road to Landguard Road to reach Shanklin Bus Station. Route 3 will then operate via the 2 Route (Green Lane) to reach Lake. Island Coaster will serve Shanklin Esplanade before looping back to serve Landguard Road. Buses will be unable to serve Bonchurch or Shanklin Old Village at this time.
The Route 2 will continue its usual Victoria Avenue diversion.
