During this time, buses towards Newport will be diverting from Carisbrooke High Street, via Cedar Hill, Whitepit Lane, St Johns Road and Church Litten to reach NBS. Lukely Terrace, Simeon Monument, and Drill Hall Road towards Newport can not be served.
Buses from Newport will use St James Street and Trafalgar Road and left into Carisbrooke Road. Drill Hall Road bus stop can not be served towards Carisbrooke.

Island Coaster - North Road Shanklin
Due to the closure of North Road in Shanklin, Island Coaster will divert via Clarendon Road, Landguard Road, Carter Road, Regent Street, Atherley Road to continue normal Route on Hope Road.
Please note this diversion will only apply for the afternoon journey towards Ryde.

Route 6 - Whitwell Road Ventnor closed from 18:30 until 23.00 on the 16th July 2026.
From 18:30 until 23.00 on the 16th July 2026, Whitwell Road, Ventnor will be closed.
During the closure the Route 6 will be unable to serve between Whitwell Church and Ventnor as the bus will divert from the bottom of Bannock Rd and head to Godshill.
Anyone heading to/from Ventnor will need to catch the route 3 bus and pick up/alight the route 6 at Godshill school bus stop.
The diversion is in both directions.
