The popular Christmas Lights Tour is back this December and we cannot wait to welcome you on board! Get wrapped up ready for a unique festive experience for all the family aboard an open top bus. We have added in an extra special trip on Christmas Eve for the first time.  We hope you manage to snap up a seat.

Running from Monday 8th December right through to Wednesday 24th December, the Southern Vectis Christmas Lights Tour offers spectacular views of the Isle of Wight at night and visits some of the Island's best Christmas light displays.

With the bus decked out in tinsel and lights, Christmas tunes playing overhead and Santa behind the wheel, the Christmas Lights Tour is the perfect festive night out for families, friends, couples, adults and children alike - a truly unique way to enjoy the Island at Christmas.

There is limited capacity on each trip so make sure you book as soon as the tickets go on sale to avoid disappointment.

Leaving Newport Bus Station at 6.30pm we will be stopping off for refreshments at The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary Cafe and Shop. You will be able to buy mulled wine, hot chocolate, filter coffee, tea or a soft drink plus a festive treat doughnut, sweets, or a mince pie. The Wildheart Shop will also be open for fabulous Christmas gift ideas for all the family.

The whole trip will last around 120 mins. Wrap up warm and join us for some festive fun.

Joining us from the mainland? Hop aboard Route 1 from the Red Jet into Newport Bus station to meet with the Christmas Lights Bus. Coming over via the Wightlink Fastcat or Hovertravel? Ryde Bus Station is just a 5 minute walk away and you can jump on a bus to Newport.

Christmas Eve Trip

For the first time we are running the lights tour on Christmas eve. Join us on a special trip to get in the festive spirit. This trip includes treats on board and a drink and treat at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary included. It is a fantastic way to see in the festivities the night before Christmas.

Start time: 1830 from Newport Bus Station

Duration: 120 minutes approx.

Stop off: 30 mins stop off at The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary Cafe in Sandown

Seats: 47 top deck

Conditions: Chilly! Wrap up warm

Cancellations: If your chosen date is cancelled due to bad weather, we will contact you and rebook your trip for another date. Refunds are not offered if you decide you cannot make the trip.
