Summer 2025 Timetable Changes

We’ve made changes to some of our routes and these are listed below. Please review any updated timetables before planning your journey. Use the Southern Vectis mobile app to track your buses in live time.

Route 2 / 3 / N3 Route 2 Timetable   Route 3 Timetable

• Journey times have changed on all days of the week to allow for extra summer traffic levels - please check your times carefully.
• Daytime buses from Ryde will run 5 minutes earlier.
• The N3 will no longer serve Ryde Tesco but will serve Newport Asda.

Route 7 Timetable 

• An additional bus runs from Alum Bay at 2205 on Thursdays during the summer holidays to enable you to return from the Fireworks event.

Route 8 Timetable

• Thanks to our partnership with IW Council and the Bus Service Improvement Plan, some additional journeys will operate between Sandown and Newport on Monday to Friday mornings, then there will be additional Monday to Saturday daytime journeys, with buses running up to every 30 minutes on the Newport to Sandown section of the route.

Route 37 Timetable

• We’re making things easier for you by removing the afternoon schoolday variation, so there’ll now be a bus at 1500 around the whole route on all Mondays to Saturdays.

Downs Breezer (from Sat 24th May 2025)

• We’re operating a revised timetable for the 2025 season, with 4 round trips from Ryde every day.

Sea Breezer (from Sat 24th May 2025)

• Introducing this exciting new route for the 2025 season, between Ryde, Canoe Lake, Puckpool Park and Seaview, with 8 round trips every day.

Shanklin Shuttle (from Sat 24th May 2025)

• There will be a revised timetable on Mondays to Fridays for the 2025 season - there’ll be no service after 1440 on schooldays in June, July and September.

There are no changes to routes 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12, 22, 24, 32, 38 or 39.
