The popular Hover Safari is back for the summer holidays. We have teamed up with Hover Travel and The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary to offer you an exclusive Hover Safari Family Deal which includes day return Hover flight from Southsea, Southern Vectis bus & entry to the Sanctuary in Sandown.

Hovertravel is the world’s longest running commercial hovercraft service and is the only scheduled passenger hovercraft service in the Europe. Hovertravel offers the fastest way to cross the Solent between Southsea, Portsmouth and Ryde, Isle of Wight. Hovertravel operate two hovercraft with a frequent service (plus additional services at commuter times) and the journey time is just under 10 minutes. 

The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary rescues animals from suffering around Europe and provides a safe haven where they can rehabilitate in luxury at their sanctuary on the sandy shores of Sandown Bay. The team pride themselves on delivering an inspiring and unique wildlife experience which is second to none. A warm, friendly atmosphere awaits you, creating the perfect environment for getting to know a whole range of animals. From lions and tigers to monkeys, lemurs and spiders, it has something for the whole family.  Don't miss Benji and Belu - two brown bears who are living their best life by the sea.

The Ryde Hoverport is situated next to Ryde Transport Interchange where you can board Southern Vectis Buses 8, 2 or 3 to Sandown. Buses 2 or 3 stop in Sandown with a lovely 20-minute stroll along the Seafront to the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary or Bus 8 stops directly outside the Sanctuary.
