11th - 12th July
The Royal Isle of Wight County Show returns on the the 11th and 12th July and it is one not to be missed.
Animals are the stars of the Show: cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, alpacas, donkeys… if it’s got legs or wings, you’ll find it here. The local farmers fight it out every year to win rosettes and trophies, and the Grand Parade of all the winning animals brings the Show to a spectacular and very noisy finale.
As well as this year’s busy line up and show experiences, there are plenty of food and drink stalls across the show to get you salivating. Made with local Isle of Wight produce, it would be rude not to!
You can herd a pig, enter your dog into our fun dog show, and tuck into tasty local food. You can also talk to experts about everything from keeping chickens to growing camelias. There’s so much for children to do too, including tractor rides, stroking baby animals, and going on our vintage fairground rides.
