Farringford is a grade 1 Listed Building and was the main residence of the Poet Laureate Alfred, Lord Tennyson from 1853 until his death in 1892.
Farringford house and grounds have been restored to their Tennyson-era splendour and are open for visitors ( please see website for details)

Dogs are welcome in the garden but must be kept on a lead at all times.
No photography or pets permitted within the house.
