The Coral Star is a traditional wooden passenger boat working out of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. The Coral Star runs a passenger service across the Solent from Yarmouth to Lymington Quay taking 40 minutes.

The also run trips to view the Needles rocks and lighthouse. The Yarmouth departure point is behind the lifeboat.

She has a licenced bar onboard with cool soft and alcoholic drinks available. She was built in 1962 in the West Country, She has always been a tripping boat. She has worked mostly in the Paignton/Dartmouth/Brixham areas.

Like all proper Domestic Passenger Ships she has to pass two MCA surveys each year and carries all the life-saving and radio equipment necessary. She is licenced by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to safely carry 62 passengers, but that is very friendly. We prefer about 40 passengers.

All trips are weather permitting.
