We're holding a vintage tea party at Ryde Bus Station to celebrate The Old Girl's 80th birthday - our oldest bus!
Between 1030am and 1530pm on Friday 19th July, there'll be tea, cake and music - as well as the opportunity to ride on the classic bus!
The Old Girl will do two public sight-seeing tours between Ryde and Nettlestone via Seaview.
Setting off at 1130am and 1330pm, these tours will last between 30 and 45 minutes and are free of charge. However, spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. One seat will be granted per person present.
Arriving in 1932, just 42 days before the start of WWII, the Old Girl is Southern Vectis' longest serving bus.
During the tea party, we'll be collecting for the Isle of Wight branch of the British Legion - so do bring along your pennies.
Open to all, we welcome you to come along and celebrate our historic bus with us.
See you there.
