Breeze around the Island

3 weeks ago Fri 6th Mar 2020

The Needles Breezer offers a spectacular day out, ranked as the third best scenic bus route in all England!  An open-top ride with views that will simply take your breath away, The Needles Breezer runs up to every 30 minutes. Enjoy a cliff-hugging, dizzy climb from Alum Bay right up to the Needles Battery, a unique view point from aboard the open top bus where the vistas out to sea are intoxicating. The route links Yarmouth to Freshwater Bay, Dimbola Museum and Galleries, Farringford Estate, Tennyson Downs and Fort Victoria Country Park. The children will love the Needles Landmark Attraction at Alum Bay, with its fairground rides and chairlift down to the beach.

New for 2020 is the Rover+Breezer Ticket

A circular route connecting the West Wight, views from this open top bus ride will take your breath away! Look out for the towering cliffs of Tennyson Down, the charming people beach at Freshwater Bay and of course, the iconic Needles landmark at Alum Bay.

From sandy white beaches to hungry tigers, the Downs Breezer has it all! Cruise miles of rural countryside, stopping off at some of the Island's best seaside towns and attractions. The open top route offers unparalleled views of the Island and it's surrounding waters.

Take a ride around Shanklin town aboard our convenient shuttle bus. Visit the spectacular Shanklin Chine in the heart of the Old Village, stop off for a cream tea in the traditional tea rooms, sample some of the Island's best ales or head to the beach for sandcastles and ice cream. The Shanklin Shuttle connects the main town with the seafront.

Winding the Island coastline from Ryde round the back of the Island to West Wight, this route offers stunning views of the Isle of Wight's unique landscape and out across the glistening English Channel.
