Getting to the Isle of Wight Festival in 2019
From Ferry Ports:
We run regular shuttle buses to and from most ferry ports direct into the festival bus station:
• Yarmouth; for Wightlink from Lymington
• West Cowes, for high-speed Red Jet from Southampton
• East Cowes, for vehicle ferry Red Funnel from Southampton
• Ryde Esplanade, for Wightlink from Portsmouth and Hovertravel from Southsea
Ferry port shuttle buses will operate from around 8am through until 4am Thursday to Monday. The last buses will be at midday on Monday.
A shuttle bus service will operate between Church Litten in Newport to the festival bus station.
Buses will operate at regular intervals from around 8am through until 4am each day, Thursday 13th June to Monday 17th June 2019. The last buses will be at 12.00 on Monday.
From around the Island:
Southern Vectis operates an extensive network of service to most of the island’s towns and villages. Through tickets can be purchased on any Southern Vectis service to the festival bus station, changing to the shuttle buses in Newport or Ryde if required.
There will be some extra services in 2019 connecting the Sandown and Shanklin direct to the festival site.
These will operate each early afternoon and avoid the need to transfer via Newport or Ryde to get the festival.
Each evening, we will operate some scheduled services back from the festival bus station to the following locations, stopping only at the stops listed below:
• West Cowes:
Stopping at Northwood, Four Cross, Roundhouse, Carvel Lane, Victoria Road, Cemetery Gates and Park & Ride.
Stopping at Arreton, Fighting Cocks, Apse Heath, Lake Morrisons, Lake Shops, Sandown Heights, Broadway, Avenue Road, High Street, Howard Road, Shanklin Co-op, Ventnor, Upper Ventnor, Wroxall, Godshill and Rookley.
• East Cowes:
Stopping at Whippingham, Osborne House, York Avenue, Waitrose, Adelaide Grove and Victoria Grove.
Stopping at Wootton, Fishbourne Lane (end), Binstead, Parish Church, Union Street and Ryde bus station.
• St Helens/Bembridge/Brading:
Stopping at Appley, Nettlestone (Eurovines), St Helens, Bembridge (Spinnaker), Whitecliff Bay and Brading (Yarbridge Cross).
• West Wight:
Stopping at Forest Road, Shalfleet, Yarmouth, Colwell Common, Totland Broadway, Freshwater Avenue, Afton Road and Calbourne (Sun Inn).
Tickets and Fares:
Fares apply from any port or location on the Southern Vectis network.

**We regret no concessionary passes or Key Cards will be accepted.**
* The ‘Weekender’ ticket offers unlimited travel on any shuttle bus or Southern Vectis network service from Thursday 13th June to Monday 17th June 2019.
All tickets can be purchased from your bus driver on any shuttle bus or Southern Vectis network services. However, the Weekender tickets can be purchased through out mobile ticketing app ‘clickit2ride’ and offer a hassle-free way to purchase and carry your ticket around with you.
Contactless payments are accepted onboard all of our buses for tickets up to £30.
Additionally, Weekender tickets can be pre-purchased on the app and from our travel shops in Newport, Ryde and Yarmouth from Saturday 1st June 2019.
