Isle of Wight Zoo

Isle of Wight Zoo, situated a stone's throw from the beaches of Sandown, is a real treat for big cat lovers. As well as lions and jaguars, it's home to Britain's largest collection of tigers, many of whom are rescue animals. New for 2010 is Casper, the Island's first white lion, who has been a big hit in his new home.

You'll also find Lemurland, home to 7 species of these primates including the famous
Ring-Tailed Lemur and the critically endangered Black-and-White Ruffed Lemur.

The Zoolittle Farm and new indoor Zoo@Home Zone are specially designed for the younger visitors and offer great opportunities for hands-on encounters with friendly animals, and the animal educators offer a wide range of interesting and fun presentations throughout the day.
