White Air 2008

White Air is one of the most prestigious water and land based extreme sports events in Europe. This year it runs from 18th to 21st September 2008.

The event is held at Yaverland, just along the beach from Sandown, and is a natural arena for
Windsurfing, Kite surfing, Thundercat racing, Jet Ski and Kayak racing. 2008 will see additional sailing races being included to the event.

There’s plenty to do for landlubbers, too. Mountain biking, displays of Freestyle Frisbee and Speedminton, and open Volleyball competitions on the beach and more. You can party all weekend with top live bands supplying the music.

You can also learn all about the sports, get tips from the experts and try out the latest gear. There will be skate clinics, a mountain bike trails course, an intro to land yachting, and a climbing wall.

For more information visit the
official White Air website.
