Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2008

This year the Isle of Wight hosted the UK's largest annual walking festival during May. We will continue to support Island events and update this page as soon as next year's dates are announced.

this event has finished but will return next year

Since it started in 1999, the festival has grown from 39 to more than 200 different walks to suit walkers of all age groups and abilities. The island boasts more than 500 miles of well-maintained footpaths, around 30 miles of Heritage Coastline and over half of the Island is recognised as an
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

So join us for one of the Heritage walks, ghost walks,
pram walks, twilight walks and much more...
