      Route 2/62/72- Victoria Avenue, Shanklin closed- We have been informed that Victoria Avenue Shanklin to Whiteley Bank has been closed for emergency works.

      Due to the closure, buses will divert from Shanklin Bus Station, via Landguard Road to Lake Morrisons, Apse Heath, Canteen Road and re-join normal route at Whiteley Bank.

      The diversion will operate in both directions until further notice.

      We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Newport to Ryde

    via Amazon World, Sandown, Bembridge, St Helens, Seaview

    • Route 8 - Embankment Road closed, buses diverting via Brading to reach St Helens.

      Today 18:44

      The Embankment Road has been closed between Bembridge and St Helens.

      As a result, the route 8 buses towards Newport will divert from St Helen's, along Carpenters Road (past Oasis), through Brading, Marshcombe Shute, through to Bembridge (past the Airport) then Steyne Road, then serve the village loop and head to Crossways continuing the normal route.
      The diversion will operate in both directions until further notice.

      Due to the lengthy diversion the route 8's are seeing delays of up to approximately 30 minutes.
