Island Coaster

Returning on 30th March 2018. The Island Coaster runs through the southern coast which has breathtaking scenery and a number of superb attractions such as the Needles Landmark Attraction, Blackgang Chine and Dinosaur Isle that you'll want to discover.

Then there's the magnificent spectacle of Tennyson Down, Alum Bay and the Needles, a highlight of any visit to the Island. Connect with the Needles Breezer open top bus at Yarmouth bus station or the Needles Park to take a ride up to the Needles Battery for some spectacular views.

Please note that the Island Coaster is not an open top bus.

The Needles Landmark Attraction

With an amusement park for the kids above Alum Bay, and a chairlift down to the beach below, you'll see the famous coloured sands on the beach when you descend.

Shanklin is a quaint village with thatched cottages, traditional pubs and shops and old fashioned tea rooms. Once you've wandered round, take a walk down to Shanklin Chine and take in the enchanting waterfalls, rare plants and wildlife.

Blackgang Chine

Overlooking the southern coast of the island, Blackgang Chine is an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins, fairies, nursery rhyme characters, cowboys, indians and the restricted area 5 with its lifesize animatronic dinosaurs!
