great training & benefits
Southern Vectis are looking to recruit up to 20 drivers and we're holding a Recruitment Day in the New Year.
We're looking for great people to join our team working from our depots in various locations across the Island. You'll need to be a people person with a positive attitude, willing to treat every single customer just how you would want to be treated yourself. You should be customer focused and confident when dealing with people.
Ideally, you should hold a clean UK driver's licence that you have held for a minimum of 12 months and preferably with no endorsements or penalties.
We don't require you to have a PCV licence to drive a bus as we will provide all the training you need to gain your PCV licence. We also welcome applications from holders of current PCV licences.
Our drivers work shifts, five out of seven days per week, including weekends and bank holidays. We would require you to work a minimum of 40 hours per week covering early shifts that could start from 5am and late shifts finishing after midnight.
In return you can expect to earn £19,000 per annum basic after a qualifying period, Company pension and free bus travel for you and your immediate family on Southern Vectis and sister companies throughout England.
If you are a dependable and reliable person who enjoys working with people of all ages and helping others then please apply by downloading and completing an application form below. You will also need to download and complete an Asylum and Immigration Act form to confirm your entitlement to work in the UK, even if you hold British Nationality.
Southern Vectis, part of the Go-Ahead Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
