2010 will be the seventh Bestival which has gone from strength to strength. Awarded the UK Festivals Best Small Festival Award in 2004 and the Best Medium Festival Awards in 2006 and 2007, the Bestival has also been nominated in several categories for 2009.

Past acts have included Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, Amy Winehouse, the Human League, the Beastie Boys and the Chemical Brothers to name but a few.

The Bestival is also well renowned for its fancy dress theme which saw thousands of festival goers sporting outfits in the Bestival 2009: a space oddity theme.
