Situated on the quieter west side of the island, this is a superb sandy beach, although pebbly at the high water mark. The beach offers warm sheltered swimming, and the Bay is a popular anchorage for small craft. Totland still has its pier, although it is no longer open, there is a café and a delightful waters edge pub for refreshments, and the shops of Totland are nearby, as are the toilets.

There is a lovely walk along the seawall to neighbouring Colwell Bay and lovely views across the Solent, spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from this ideal location.
