Bonchurch is a beautifully quaint village, complete with large pond, stocked with very big carp, and there are beautiful cottages and Victorian mansions, all nestling in the shelter of St Boniface Down. The beach is a mix of sand and shingle, and low tide leaves rock pools which are just crying out to be explored.

There are several cafes nearby, some with stunning views, specializing in seafood. There is level walk along the seawall to Ventnor, taking you by Wheelers Bay, with its fishermen’s cottages. Bonchurch is the quiet, traditional style of holiday that will appeal to those who crave peace and beauty.
