We are pleased to once again offer our popular seasonal open top and coastal summer services in 2019, starting the season Saturday 9th March with The Needles Breezer.
The Needles Breezer offers a spectacular day out, ranked as the third best scenic bus route in all England! An open-top ride with views that will simply take your breath away, The Needles Breezer runs up to every 30 minutes. Enjoy a cliff-hugging, dizzy climb from Alum Bay right up to the Needles Battery, a unique view point from aboard the open top bus where the vistas out to sea are intoxicating. The route links Yarmouth to Freshwater Bay, Dimbola Museum and Galleries, Farringford Estate, Tennyson Downs and Fort Victoria Country Park. The children will love the Needles Landmark Attraction at Alum Bay, with its fairground rides and chairlift down to the beach.
We recommend our 24 or 48 hour Rover for a weekend adventure by bus. Get 24 or 48 hours unlimited travel across all Southern Vectis buses, available as adult, young adult, child and group (of 5) fare. Rover tickets are a fun and cost effective way to discover the Isle of Wight.
